Our Story
Lindsay Castiglione, BS, IBCLC
Founder, Full Hearts Collaborative
Lindsay is the proud mother of two sets of twins, and wife of Charlie, a US Navy Submariner. When her first set of twins, identical boys, came into the world ten weeks early, she thought her dream of breastfeeding was over. Instead, she found the right lactation support and, combined with grit & determination, was able to successfully nurse past their first birthday. She started providing peer support to other NICU multiples mamas during that time and the dream of becoming an IBCLC started to take shape.
Just after her boys’ second birthday, Charlie and Lindsay welcomed a second set of twins into their family. Despite the challenge of also having two very active toddlers to care for, she was able to nurse her baby boy and girl for a little over two years. Soon after, she became a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) and began working at Twin Love Concierge, teaching prenatal multiples classes and providing consultations. As her children grew, she was able to complete the rigorous educational requirements and clinical hours to sit for the International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) exam. Part of this preparation was working as a breastfeeding counselor from 2019-2021 at WIC, helping to support many families through their lactation journeys. All while military life brought deployments, relocations, and lots of solo parenting.
Finally, after earning her IBCLC certification she formed her private practice, Full Hearts Collaborative. By providing comprehensive prenatal education along with expert lactation care focusing on Multiples, she hopes to pay forward the life-changing support she received and help families thrive in the face of challenge.
